I only have so much love to give

Poor blog, I want to love you, but I don't have time. Being the sole coordinator of National Library Week, doing 90 percent of the work on a poster session that will be at ALA and attempting a social life in between my working week has taken its toll on you. I also have been missing all my regular sites and friends' blogs. I feel lost in a world of books, powerpoint slides, and excel charts. I even have dreams where my old SF boss and my current boss are hanging out in my office. This week represents most everything I said I never would tolerate as a librarian (that everything being working way too hard, this profession isn't designed for that). I can't wait for next week to hit, when I can play literati and scrabulous all day again, and eat lunch away from my desk.
