Reading Update

I finished Love in the Time of Cholera on Monday. The ending of that novel is fantastic. I re-read the last page probably 10 times. I feel like if I read the book a few more times it could maybe replace Anna Karenina as my favorite book of all time. Until then, AK remains victorious. A major reason that AK is my fave is because I've actually studied it in a few classes, not just read it for enjoyment. So when I'm reading it, I really understand the significance of each word. I think if I did that with Love I could get so much more out of the reading.
Now I'm on to WET: A Wild-Ass Tale of Maritime Adventure by my good old friend Jacob. It's a funny adventure tale, that has kept me laughing. Its so great my friends are so much more talented than I am. Gives me an excuse to continue being unproductive and uncreative.
I've been trying to get my hands on a copy of Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathon Safron Foer, but my job doesn't collect in lit and all our cooperative libraries have all their copies checked out. And I believe we know my hatred for the completely inept Chicago Public Library and their nonexistent online hold system.
