I can be an adult sometimes

I have a lot of stuff to do at work, to the point where I'll probably start doing some at home. If only I could organize my time better when I'm there, I wouldn't have to stress when I'm home. Tomorrow I'm teaching two classes, and Wednesday I have a long session with a blind student. I'm nervous about that one. If any of you have done library work with a blind student, I'd love to know some techniques on explaining online databases. I want to make sure he leaves with the right information, and that he trusts in me as a valuable resource that treats him properly. He's a new grad student in the department I work for, so I'll be seeing him a lot. Very important to get off on the right foot. I'll be happy once Wednesday is over and most of the tough stuff this week is behind me. Re-reading this makes me feel very old.

My knees are killing me, even when I'm not running, so I'm not sure what to do. Do I keep running and hope they just adjust? Do I stop? I'll try switching to a treadmill for awhile I think. I also fell at the train stop this morning as a result of slick shoes and a slippery platform, which messed up my pinched nerve in my left arm even more. Re-reading this makes me feel very old.

I can't wait to get paid Friday - I need a ton of new work clothes and a new pair of work shoes for the winter. I'll have to go to some cheapo places, but I did find a pair of lacostes that are awesome (but pricey). I'll splurge on those and get some uggo old navy sweaters or something for the office. Re-reading this makes me feel very old.
