Places to visit
There are many things/places I haven't been to in SF in my 3 years here. In the next week I'm going to try to get to them, in addition to my hasty packing.
Pleace I haven't been yet/Things I may want to do if I can stand the tourists:
Coit Tower murals
Maritime Museum
maybe a Cable Car
Tire Beach
Wave Organ
indoors Mission Dolores (how did I live two blocks away from there for a year and never once go inside? oh yeah I'd burn up upon entering)
maybe the Metreon
DeYoung Museum
Museum of the African Diaspora
Ferry to anywhere
Stuff I want to do again:
Take Audrey to Fort Funston
Watch the fog roll in over Golden Gate Bridge, weather permitting
Eat tons of food
Take lots of pictures

Forget about Coit, Cable Car and Mission Dolores. I guess I've never rode a cable car, but those other things aren't really worth it. The most noteworthy thing about the Mission was the plastic owl in their backyard. And the fact that it's one of only 2 cemeteries in the city, I guess. Oh, and the Metreon isn't even an attraction. Just some life-sized Sony ad with a bowling alley.
You probably wouldn't like the Wave Organ, but I like hearing it glug glug trying to burp out a song. Nice view too. Good place to watch the GGB, so you could kill 2 birds.
Totally forgot about the African musem. I'll need to go there once you leave town.
